(January 4, 2002 - Cleveland, Ohio)

A New Year brings a new short production in MDI's growing list of independent projects. Warped Boxes, the holiday season story of two sister who cause a deadly accident and must quickly cover their tracks, will shoot over this January.

Directed by Johnny Wu and written by MDI associate Mark Stavnicky, Warped Boxes will clock in around 20 minutes. With help from volunteer actors, camera operators, and crew members, this low-budget, three-camera shoot will become the longest and most ambitious MDI short to date.

The executive producer for Warped Boxes is Marc Moser, star of MDI's series of John Doe shorts.

MDI is a multimedia company that has worked with other organizations such as Kodak, FilmCraft Labs, the Ohio Independent Film Festival, Indieclub.com, and the Stone Model Agency in the realm of independent cinema.
