Info: Nathan Wagner MDI Produces PSA for Hollywood Charities Foundation on location in Cleveland. Media Design Imaging (MDI), a Cleveland based film production firm established in 1998, earlier this week produced a public service announcement commercial for Hollywood Charities Foundation. The 60 second PSA was directed by Bernadette Gillota (Ohio Independent Film Festival Director). The PSA is to be aired during the screening of Playground Girls, a film by American Federation of Film Producer's President, Brent Roske. It will also be aired on several web sites including mdifilm.com; Ohiofilms.com; and HollywoodCharities.org. Ms. Gillota directed the PSA with the participation of MDI founder Johnny Wu, film crew members, local filmmakers, actors and locations were used throughout downtown Cleveland. Playground Girls, starring Kate Clarke will premier at the Sunset Laemmle Theatre, 8512 Sunset Blvd., on Friday and Saturday, April 13-14. The film has received numerous recommendations from film critics and was screened at Sundance's ShowDance on January 25, 2001. Hollywood Charities Foundation, a nonprofit organization sponsored by organizations including the American Federation of Film Producers.
