Gabay counts blessings at start of her 20th season

Her (Karen Gabay, performer) burgeoning interest in acting recently led her to audition for "Twisted," an independent film directed by Johnny Wu of Cleveland. Gabay plays a mother of a 17-year-old Chinese boy. "They were looking for Asian-looking people," said Gabay, whose ancestry is Chinese, Filipino, Hawaiian, French and Spanish.
