We recently acquired a camera that take light field picture, the Lytro Illum.
The Lytro Illum takes photography in a different perspective, it takes photographs that you can later manipulate focus by the touch of a button by clicking where you want it to be focused. Although it is a revolutionary camera, it was not geared for print media. The best use for a Lytro Illum is portrait or produce photography where you would like to create a user interactive experience for web or social media.
You can create animated video using the still you took or into a 2D or 3D environment or do what we can do below: by touching anywhere of the picture, it would focus that area right away.
So, ain’t that fun? We will soon do some test photos taken at numerous restaurants, stay tuned!
