"Twisted" Enters Post Production "Twisted", the true story of a young gay Asian boy, has entered into post production after six months filming in Cleveland. The story, which was directed, produced and adapted by Media Design Imaging, Inc., focuses on Jin's struggles with issues of tradition, values, social and political ties and the temptations of a maturing young man in his teens.

In addition to teen-age issues, Jin winds through the intricate connection between the underworld role he plays for his government, working as an assassin, and his search for friendship and his father's love. Throughout his journey Jin assembles a passionate yet fierce approach to relationships, survival, and acceptance, but not without some twists. English, Spanish, and Chinese dialogues will be used throughout the film, which features the talents of stunt director Richard Fike, Sr., a prominent martial artist who has appeared in several major Hollywood films.

"Twisted", is one of the lowest-budgeted 16mm films shot in Cleveland, with an estimated $3000 in total production costs. The movie will include a blending of color with black and white film, digital effects and animation. All sound and dialogue was recorded on laptop computers and will be used for dubbing at MDI's Studio. The film will be edited using desktop computers, later transferred to tape and finalized to film. The film will be submitted to festivals throughout the nation in Fall 2000. Several national organizations are awaiting the release of the Trailer to be streamed to their website, and a theatrical release is pending.
