Join in a weekend of martial arts information exchange, workshops, exhibitions, and special appearances at the You Can Do It Sports and Life Centres located at 15381 Royalton Road, Strongsville, Ohio (East of RT-82, off I-71).

boy  in kicking stanceThis is a special event sponsored by the Ohio Independent Film Festival, You Can Do It Sports & Life Centres, Yano's Isshin-Ryu Karate, Wu Family Fist, and Wah Lum Columbus. This weekend of cultural, educational, and sportmanship is a unique opportunity to learn from the best, most spectacular masters. Members of the Shaolin Performing Group, ages 6 to 18, along with Shaolin Monk Grandmaster Zhu, will be traveling for the first time to Cleveland for a special weekend presentation on July 8-9, 2000.

The Wushu/Kungfu Extravanganza Weekend will include workshops with Jet Li's schoolmate Master Nick Gracenin, a world wushu champion and US Wushu Team Coach. Learn about Stunts, Makeup and Special Effects in the Movies with Master Richard Fike Sr. and Stunt Predators, USA, and participate in an Aerobic Kickboxing workshop with Master Gary Yano. Experience first-hand teaching in Qigong and Taijiquan (for health & longevity) with Shaolin Monk Grandmaster Zhu, and learn Shaolin Kung Fu with the Shaolin Performing Group.

But don't miss a special appearance of Master An Tienron, one of Jet Li's teachers, who will demonstrate his skill and who is always willing to interact with everyone on Saturday, July 8th, 2000. Plus a special one night presentation on Sunday, July 9th at 7pm, with an exclusive performances of skilled martial artists, an exhibition by the Shaolin Performing Group, and the colorful and traditional Lion & Dragon Dances.
